Capcom is going all out with an Ultra Collector’s edition of Monster Hunter Wilds in Japan that includes an actual bicycle. However, pump your brakes before getting too excited, because the package costs roughly $1,260 (converted from 181,590 yen).
Spotted by VGC, the Monster Hunter-themed folding bike isn’t the only part of the Ultra Collector’s edition. This bundle also comes with a steelbook with a PS5 copy of the action-adventure game, a weapon bag pouch, and a baby Seikret plush.
Meanwhile, here in the US, Monster Hunter Wilds Steelbook edition preorders are now live. There is also a Digital Deluxe edition available for $90, while the Premium Deluxe edition retails for $110. These versions come with layered armor, gestures, extra hairstyles, and more–with the premium also including two future cosmetic DLC packs.
Earlier this week at the PlayStation State of Play, Capcom announced Monster Hunter Wilds will launch on February 28, 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Last month, GameSpot got hands-on time with the game and thought Monster Hunter Wilds ruled.
Capcom confirmed last month at Gamescom that Monster Hunter Wilds won’t have gender-locked armor for the first time ever. Previously, armor sets were tied to men or women; now, anyone can pick what gear they prefer. Monster Hunter Wilds will also throw more monsters at you than ever before.
